“In 1995, after studying sciences at Cal Berkeley, I moved to rural Honduras as a Peace Corps volunteer.  There I learned about landscape construction, irrigation, medicinal plants, and soil science. I returned to California, apprenticed with several landscape companies and in 1998, began building a small but strong team of skilled gardeners, builders and designers.  Those first clients called us “down to earth.” We have been growing strong ever since, with many more years to come…….”
